For anyone who likes the sun

This movie is awesome:

If you’re bored at first, don’t worry.  It really picks up at about the 1:00 mark.

It’s amazing how much magnetic structure there is in the sun: chaotic charged currents send the remnants of solar explosions into crazy loops.  I highly recommend the wikipedia article, if only for the pictures.
